Founded in 1978, SOTACI is one of the leading processors of steel products in West Africa, with sales of 160 billion FCFA in 2023.
SOTACI, the leading metallurgist in the sub-region, offers steel-based manufactured products to all local and sub-regional players in the building and public works, metal joinery, agro-industry and agriculture sectors.
The SOTACI industrial site is located in Yopougon Industrial Zone, in the commune of Abidjan, on a 12-hectares site with more than 20 different production workshops. Together, these high-performance industrial facilities represent an annual processing capacity of over 300,000 tonnes of steel.
SOTACI has consolidated its leadership in Côte d'Ivoire and the sub-region by diversifying its offer and improving product availability.
The company is strengthening its policy of proximity to customers and markets in the sub-region by consolidating its sales force in the field and for export, and by setting up various distribution sites in Côte d'Ivoire.
Its industrial subsidiaries, SOTAMALI and STIL in Mali and Togo respectively, enable SOTACI to strengthen its presence in the sub-region. This presence favors proximity to export customers and facilitates the handling of foreign markets.
